Why not?
Life throws so many wacky things at us, tries to kill us, seems to delight in our misfortunes... but, that's the way it goes. So I have learned to seek silver linings and ignore (as best I can) the inevitable turd in the punch bowl.
So far 2010 has been a series of calamities, garnished with some truly heartbreaking events for me personally and also in the world. But through it all I have seen the most amazing evidence of love and compassion. And that is a beautiful thing.

My heart hurts for you...that year 2010 has been hard so far. But good for you for seeking the silver lining:) I lived through one of the roughest years for me in 2009. So, hang in there! Wishing you well and sunny days from now on:)

It does sound like you've had a tough start to the year...but your positive outlook will help you through more than you think.
